FIELD OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a screw cap removal / mounting machine "capper / decapper" for laboratory use.
PRIOR ART The drive unit of most capper / decapper machines contains several parts, each of which has only one function and which therefore means that the driver unit takes up a lot of space in height / length. Patent EP2882677B1 describes a machine that can capp / decap all rows in one (24, 48 or 96 format) sps rack at once.
Depending on the design of the head, the invention can cappe / decappe a number of tubes in one sps rack at a time. Patent EP1452869A2 describes how the tip of drive unit goes down into the tube lid and via a spring achieves tolerance for lid size batch to batch variation. The invention achieves via mechanical adjustment of the drive tip tip tolerance for lid - size batch to batch variation. Patent EP2882677B1 describes a drive unit with a centered eject system. The invention has a flexible eject system on the outside of the drive unit. Patent US2017 / 0113909A1 describes a machine that moves a drawer on which the sample rack and cap support rack are located while the drive unit is stationary.
- The drive of the invention moves while the sample rack and cap / lid support rack are stationary. Patent US2017 / 0113909A1 describes a machine having an open surface e.g. in the slide drawer of the rack drawer. The surface of the invention is closed.
THE SPECIAL OBTAINMENT OF THE INVENTION The invention reduces the number of parts and thus the size of drive unit in screw cap removal / mounting machine "capper / decapper" for laboratory use.
THE NEW TECHNICAL MEANS The invention contains 6 new technical means:
1. The drive unit is compact and has 4 functions in one, so that the number of parts is low and the overall design of the unit is small.
2. The tip of the invention can be mechanically adjusted to achieve tolerance for lid size batch to batch variation.

3. The anti-rotation device of the invention is made of a material other than the drive unit, the upper part of the drive unit so that it can act as a bearing material.
The head of the invention is used for positioning drive units and its fastening neck is long and thin so that it can function as an integrated cable duct and at the same time provide space for shielding.
5. The invention has a flexible eject system on the outside of the head which automatically adapts to the diameter of the lower drive unit.

THE TECHNICAL IMPACT The technical effect of the 6 new technical means of the invention is:

The drive unit is made of a hard material e.g. metal and consists of a maximum of 4 parts (Figure 2, A, B, D, E) and its total length can be varied eg to less than 90 mm. The lower diameter (shape) of the drive unit can be adapted to the pipes / lids it is to be used for e.g. type Nunc 96 rack 1 mL tube and FluidX 96 rack 1 mL tube.
2. The tip of the invention (Figure 3, C) can be mechanically adjusted with a tool so as to achieve tolerance for lid size batch to batch variation. The tolerance is achieved by adjusting the diameter of the tip of the drive unit e.g. by adjusting a threaded unit up into the slotted outer portion of the tip so that its diameter expands (Figure 3, F). Alternatively, soft material can be included, e.g. rubber or silicone in the tip of the drive unit. Depending on the pressure applied with the threaded unit via the mechanical adjustment, the soft material fills more or less and thus the tolerance is achieved.

The rotary fuse (Figure 1, C) (Figure 2, C) is made of a material other than the upper part of the drive unit, typically softer, as it must act as a bearing material when the lower part of the drive unit goes down into a screw cap (Figure 2, F) .
The drive units can be placed on the head of the invention. Eg. the head can consist of two mirror-inverted halves (Figure 4) mounted around the drive units. The distance between the drive units can be adapted to e.g. 9, 13.5 or 18 or 19.5 mm. The number of drive units in the head of the invention can be adjusted. Depending on the location of the sps rack in the machine, the invention can capp / decap 1-12 tubes in a row at a time. The head moves e.g. automatically or manually from one sps rack row to the next. The head attachment neck is long and thin so that it can function as an integrated cable duct (Figure 4, A) and at the same time there is room for shielding (Figure 6, A).
5. The invention has a flexible lid eject system on the outside of the head (Figure 3, D, E). The Eject system can via flexible joints (Figure 4, B) adapt to the size of the drive unit (Figure 3, A, C) and thus the eject system can be used for several types of pipes / lids. The Eject system releases the cover from the drive unit or the cap / lid support rack by a mechanical action in the Z-axis direction.
The invention surface behind the head is closed with a smooth plate of e.g. metal higher than 15 cm (Figure 6, A). Likewise, the surface under the head is closed (Figure 6, A). The closed surfaces ensure that sample material and loose lids cannot enter the machine. The closed and smooth surface makes the invention easy to clean and reduces the risk of contamination if the invention is used in laminar air flow cabinets.
